From beginner to pro: Our customer journey to expertise in Marbella

Dear readers,

In recent weeks we have welcomed a number of new customers to Marbella. Our customers have different objectives: a couple who would like to buy an apartment in an area where many of their friends live, a businessman who often travels abroad for work and is looking for a home with its own swimming pool and all the facilities of a resort for his holidays with the family, and two investors who want to make a return. Together with my fantastic colleague Jessy Littlejohn, we did the intakes in the Netherlands and then scheduled the appointments for various projects.

What struck us is that now that the season has started in Marbella, the developers are giving presentations all day long and the properties are disappearing from the market very quickly. This puts a certain pressure on customers. There is a lot of demand for the most beautiful projects at prime locations. We therefore advise our customers, if they are sure that they want to buy, not to wait too long before deciding. We don't say this to put extra pressure, but because that's the way the market is right now. Fortunately, customers understand this. Some can decide quickly, while for others it always remains exciting to make the decision. Naturally, we support our customers in this.

Many people hear that Marbella is booming, but they encounter a number of obstacles such as:

Where do I begin?

Start by defining your goals. Are you looking for a holiday home, a permanent residence or an investment property? It is important to be clear about what you want to achieve. You can then hire a reliable real estate agent who can guide you through the process.

Is what we hear all true?

Yes, Marbella is currently a very popular destination with high demand for property. The stories about the growing market and rising prices are true. However, it's important to do your own research and talk to experts.

Who can I trust?

Find an experienced real estate agent with a good reputation who has known the area for years. A real estate agent who is well acquainted with the market can give you the best advice. Our experience of 25 years, together with that of my colleague Jessy Littlejohn, is an example of the expertise you can expect.

How long will prices continue to rise?

Although no one can predict the future with certainty, prices in Marbella are expected to continue to rise for the foreseeable future, given the region's continued popularity and the limited availability of prime locations.

Where are the prime locations?

Prime locations in Marbella include Marbella's Golden Mile, Nueva Andalucia, and Marbella East. Benahavis and Estepona are on the rise, provided you choose the right projects in the popular locations. These areas are highly sought after for their location, amenities, and prestige.

Can you rent well in Marbella and can I easily get a rental license?

Yes, rentals in Marbella are generally lucrative. You can rent out all year round. Of course in spring/summer, but also in autumn/winter for golfers and Scandinavians. Obtaining a rental license for new construction is quickly arranged.

We not only sell real estate, but we also make our customers smarter by teaching them everything about the area and letting them experience it for themselves. To stay in sports terms: we train our customers and make them better and ready for the competition. In addition, we offer exclusive insights into the Marbella real estate market through our blog, based on our expertise. This gives customers an increasingly better feel for the market and allows them to make well-considered decisions. This is important.

Each and every one of our customers has succeeded, and we are very happy and proud of that. Through our joint efforts, they have not only acquired real estate, but also built trust, knowledge and a solid foundation for future investments.

So let's continue to grow, learn and celebrate life together in fantastic Marbella!!

Greetings

Pauline Mulder
